Location
Cumbrian Lakes is a luxury gated community and is ideally situated off Poinciana Boulevard which is accessed from highway 192. It is a great place to rent a home as it provides easy access to theme parks with Disney 6 miles away to the west, International Drive and Seaworld to the east and the airport less than 30 minutes drive. There are many restaurants and shops within quick reach including 24hr shopping at a nearby Walmart which can be accessed via a back route.
Cumbrian Lakes
The villa is in private gated community with keycode access. It is in a prestigous development surrounded by wooded conservation area and lakes with jogging trails.
There is an abundance of wildlife with ospreys, blue cranes, turtles and even the occasional alligator to spot!
There is plenty of open space for games as well as a childrens play park for use of residents along with football nets for older children.
The villa
The villa is well laid out with maintained gardens with the pool and deck south facing. The villa backs onto natural woodland making the pool secluded and NOT OVERLOOKED BY A MULTITUDE OF OTHERS and adding to the privacy of your holiday home. A feature which we decided important when deciding to buy! New for 2006 - planting to pool area for more privacy!
The pool
The pool is 28ft long with an adjoining spa. Heating is available at a weekly supplement during the cooler months but not needed most of the year. The spa controls are now fully automated so you can direct the heated water into the spa at the flick of switch!
There is an extra large deck with luxury sun loungers and an extended lanai with eating area providing shade when needed. A sun parasol is also provided.
A toilet and shower are located by the pool.
Note that doors to the pool area are alarmed for the safety of young children.
Villa amenities
We have always valued out family holidays as our children have grown up. We like to spend time together and have chosen to equip our villa with this in mind providing family games, cards, books etc for your use. Of course there is plenty of space and the villa will accomodate 2 families in comfort.
The beautifully furnished 'great' room has a 'wow' factor when you walk in. It has a large screen 32" TV, DVD player, cable TV and DVD collection. There is a dining area and breakfast area.
There is a fully equipped kitchen area with dishwasher, range, microwave, waste disposal, coffee machine etc. Plastic cups, glasses and plates are provided for around the pool for safety!
The master bedroom is furnished to an exceptional standard with a large walk in wardrobe, en suite bathroom with corner bath and large shower, separate WC. The bedroom opens onto the pool area.
There is a queen bedroom with adjoining bathroom leading to the 3rd bedroom, a themed twin bedroom.
The 4th themed twin bedroom has a bathroom adjacent. All are furnished to a superior designer standard and have plenty of storage space.
There is a full laundry with all the equipment you need.
The games room has a variety of games including pool, air hockey, table tennis, darts, foosball.
There is a telephone with free local, NATIONAL CALLS AND and international calls to over 80 countries.
A safe is provided but the house is also alarmed.
Our local 24 hr management company cleans and looks after the villa and pool. All linen and towels are provided.
Cots and highchairs are provided as needed.
No pets are allowed at this villa.
