Dragonflies Villa is luxuriously furnished and equipped to an extremely high standard, built on a large plot with beautifully landscaped gardens to the front and rear.

Dragonflies Villa has a spacious master bedroom with King bed and en-suite, a spacious second bedroom with Queen bed and a generous third bedroom with twin beds. A large and open living space includes a lounge area, dining area and fully equipped kitchen, breakfast area, laundry room, garage, front porch area, lanai and heated swimming pool.

The large pool has a south-west aspect, ideal for sunbathing and for enjoying the spectacular sunsets.

This luxury home is located on the beautiful, peaceful, golfing community of Rotonda West, 45mins south of Sarasota. The Rotonda is a mixture of residential and holiday homes set among fresh water canals, golf courses and greenbelt land.

A short drive will take you to the pristine, white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

Dragonflies Villa is a Gulf Coast luxury villa with private heated pool which offers plenty of privacy and space and is the ideal place to relax. The villa is tastefully decorated and furnished to an exceedingly high standard and great care has been taken to ensure guests comfort.

The large master bedroom is elegantly furnished with a king size bed, bedside cabinets, mirrored dressing table and comfy chair. It also has a remote controlled television / DVD player, ample wardrobe and storage space and sliding glass doors which lead onto the pool/lanai area. The master ensuite has a corner bath, walk-in shower, water closet, towel closet, hair dryer and large vanity with two sinks.

The dining room has a large dining table with seating for six and is perfect for formal dining.

The great room is luxuriously furnished with comfort in mind.There are two plush sofas, coffee table, side tables and an entertainment unit complete with cable television, CD player and DVD player. Triple glass doors lead out onto the lanai and overlook the pool.

This large spacious kitchen is comprehensively equipped with all you would expect in a modern American kitchen.It has everything from a coffee maker and electric tea kettle, to dishes and glassware for eight. Crockery is provided for both formal, indoor and outdoor eating. The kitchen is spacious and perfect for vacation living. Should you be catering for a formal dinner for 6 or a cosy breakfast for two you will find we have everything you need.

The breakfast nook is furnished with a casual dining table and chairs for four people.

The first guest bedroom has a queen size bed, wardrobes, a mirrored dressing table, TV and two bedside chests with lamps. Sliding double patio doors give access to our beautiful pool.

The second guest bedroom has two twin beds, a bedside chest with lamp, a tall clothes chest and ample wardrobe space.


The guest bathroom has a tub, shower, hair dryer, single sink large mirror and vanity area. It is situated between bedroom two and three.

The laundry room comes complete with full-sized washer and dryer, sink, large storage area, and iron with ironing board.

The pool/lanai area has a glass top table and seating for six people plus four sun loungers and small tables. There is also a gas BBQ for guests to use. Dragonflies Villa is South West facing and the pool receives the sun all day. The pool/lanai area is enclosed within a mesh screen for your added comfort. There is an additional variable speed fan above the lanai table. The pool has electric and solar heating for all year round swimming.

The master bedroom, guest bedroom, great room and breakfast nook all open out onto the pool. The spacious villa is fully air-conditioned and has variable speed ceiling fans in all rooms.

Free of charge wireless high speed internet is available -just bring your wireless enabled laptop!

Free international phonecalls to USA, Canada, UK landlines and most of Europe are included.

Activities and Attractions

Beach activities include sun bathing, boating and fishing; hunting for colourful shells and pre-historic sharks teeth; bird and sunset watching and maybe even an occasional dolphin or manatee.

The area offers a couple of wave runner and boat rental shops. There are trails for biking and hiking at Stump Pass State Park which is a wildlife sanctuary just down from the beach.

Golfing is a popular past-time in the area as well. There are plenty of opportunities for a great game of golf at any one of the six nearby courses.

If you like being on the water a variety of boats can be hired locally...navigate the intra-costal water ways, sail out onto the Gulf Coast followed by dolphins or hire canoes and explore the canals and rivers.

We had a fabulous stay in Dragonflies, you have a beautiful home there and we felt very spoiled. We enjoyed the luxurious surroundings and appreciated the care that you have obviously put into the villa. The quality of all the linens and the nice touches like the cleansing pads in the bathrooms were very much appreciated! I can't think of anything you need to add - we found everything we needed and it was a joy to be in a fully equipped kitchen. The villa is so comfortable that no one was in a hurry to leave - we all enjoyed the pool.

I feel that we had a real holiday, relaxing mornings with lazy breakfasts on the lanai and leisurely exploring in the afternoon. The beaches we explored are beautiful, and the breeze from the Gulf made them so comfortable!

Once again Dragonflies lived up to and beyond our expectations. The villa was immaculate when we walked in and the sun was shining. What more could two whey faced Brits want? A fabulous time in hospitable surroundings.

The Pig ‘n Whistle is a great watering hole – only open for dinner though! If you, or someone you know loves bling and you are in the Naples area you can’t go wrong with The Best of Everything on Tamiami Trail N, (behind Big Mels or Als Diner) We saw the same pieces on St Armands Circle at 4x the price!

Rum Runners at Palm Island is a very enjoyable outing. You take a water taxi to Palm Island – watch out for dolphins!

We arrived in the middle of the night tired, hungry & travel weary to find the welcoming lights of Dragonflies.

The last month has been just so exhilarating, entertaining and relaxing with family. Taking in the so many experiences of the area - Golf, Ball games, Beaches, Shopping, Restaurants, meeting new people and coming across friends from home.
