Our luxury villa is located in the "Westridge" sub-division just off highway U.S. 27, approximately 15 minutes drive from Walt Disney World's main gates and 30 minutes from Orlando International Airport (depending on traffic. Within minutes of Highway U.S. 192 and I-4. Numerous golf courses, shopping mall, 24 hour Wal-Mart and grocery stores also within minutes. "Sandhill Villa" is tastefully furnished, decorated and very clean.
Start your day by enjoying your morning coffee or tea while sitting at the table in the attached screen-enclosed pool area under the covered lanai where you may observe some of Florida's wildlife in its natural habitat while gazing over the approximately 4 acre lake/pond, 80 acre open field and wooded conservation area. Bring your binoculars along to take a closer look at the wildlife.
After a day of sight-seeing come home to relax in the large southwest facing pool (approx. 15 x 30) while your dinner is cooking in our fully modern, well equipped kitchen or barbeque outdoors on the gas grill. Before retiring for the evening in the King Size Bed (U.K. Super King), Queen (U.K. King) or one of the two Twin Beds, relax in the reclining chair or on one of the two reclining sofas while watching a movie from our DVD collection or expaned cable television which includes Free On Demand Movie Channels, Sports Channels and Music Channels.
"Sandhill Villa" is fully air-conditioned/heated with ceiling fans throughout for added comfort. A high standard of bedding, linens, and towels are provided (except beach towels). We also provide free long distance telephone service within the United States, a digital safe for storing your valuables, clothes washer and dryer, iron and ironing board, and a hairdryer. The key is accessible on-site in a coded lockbox...no need to go elsewhere for access to our home. Our full time Caretaker is on call 24 hours, if needed.
The Westridge Community offers a good mix of residential and rental homes which gives a nice relaxed feeling about our community with its rolling hills and very pleasant central park where you will find a cabana, large community pool, a wonderful childrens play area (swings, slides, etc.), lit tennis, basketball, and volley-ball courts and a soccer field, which is within walking distance of our home.
Sandhill Villa featurescathedral ceilings throughout the main living areas and master bedroom...an open and airy floor plan, central air-conditioning/heating throughout with ceiling fans in the main living area, bedrooms, dining area and office for added comfort.
Comfortably furnished the Living Room/Lounge has a 32" color television with expanded cable and remote control, a DVD player and a collection of movies for all ages, a portable stereo radio/CD/Tape player and tropical ceiling fan/light fixture. All seating in the lounge reclines for extreme comfort and relaxation. A door-wall gives way to the attached screen enclosed southwest facing pool and lanai.
The Kitchen is complete with stove/oven, refrigerator/freezer with automatic ice maker, microwave oven, automatic dishwasher, garbage disposal, fire extinguisher and wall phone. Dishes, glassware, cutlery, cookware, 4-slice toaster, blender, electric can opener, coffeemaker and tea kettle etc. are also provided. Seating for six is available at the attached snack bar. The kitchen and dining areas are separated by a large archway.
The Dining Room features a table and six chairs. This room is nicely decorated to coordinate with the lounge.
Office 2 Desks and 2 Office Chairs - a Reclining Chair - a Rocking Chair, and a Telephone with Answering Machine. Bring your Lap Top and Connect to High Speed Wireless Internet (computer & accessories NOT included). This room also offers a place to get away from the kids and enjoy watching TV or reading by yourself.
The Master Bedroom is furnished with a King Size bed (U.K. Super-King) which is fitted with luxurious bedding, two night tables, a five-drawer chest and a dresser. It features a 20" color cable television, a tropical ceiling fan/light fixture, alarm clock-radio, wireless phone and walk-in-closet (wardrobe). A door-wall lends way to the pool/lanai. The en-suite bathroom features a garden tub and a separate large glass enclosed walk-in shower unit, his and hers basins and a make-up vanity with stool, a hair dryer and toilet (luv) of course.
The Second Bedroom is furnished with a Queen Size Bed (U.K. King), two night tables and a five-drawer chest, and is decorated in a "palm tree" theme. A window faces the side of the home. This room features a 22" flat screen (plasma) TV, with expanded cable, a remote control ceiling fan/light fixture and an alarm clock.
The Third Bedroom is furnished with two Twin Size beds and a five-drawer chest. It is decorated in a whimsical African animal theme for the young at heart. It too features cable television, a remote control ceiling fan/light fixture and an alarm clock and a VCR for children to watch movies from our collection of childrens movies. In the closet of this room you will find a collection of games and toys for all ages.
Baby Accessories: A fold-up stroller/pram, a high-chair and bed safety rails. Cot available upon request.
The Second Bathroom is accessible not only from inside the villa but from the pool area as well and features a single tub/shower unit, sink and toilet. (No need to go through the house with wet feet to use the bathroom.)
The Laundry Room is complete with free use of automatic washing machine and tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.
In the Screen Enclosed Pool/Lanai area you will find a table and 6 chairs under the "roofed" area, 2 lounge chairs with cushions (the cushions are stored in the garage to keep them dry - also 2 additional folding loungers are stored in the garage), 2 end tables and 2 pool towel holders. Some pool toys are stored in a pool-side hamper. The Gas Barbeque Grill is located just outside the screened room door. The pool has underwater flood lighting for night time swimming. There are child safety alarms on the doors and window leading to the pool area for added precaution. The screening in the pool area keeps insects out while still allowing the sun in. Optional electric pool heat is available and is recommended during the cooler months.
Our Caretaker is on call 24 hours a day in the unlikely event you should encounter any problems.
ABSOLUTELY NO PETS ALLOWED - SMOKING IS PERMITTED IN THE LANAI (OUTSIDE) AREA ONLY.

Sandhill Villa is fully licensed by State and County Authorities and is fitted with smoke alarms, fire extinguisher and emergency lighting. It is cleaned between bookings at no extra charge on bookings of 7 days or more (there is a charge for bookings of less than 7 nights).

Just a note to let you know that we arrived home safely yesterday evening. We just felt the need to write and let you know how pleased we were with your villa.
