Pine Valley Creek is a luxurious vacation villa situated on Florida's Gulf Coast

Pine Valley is located within the Rotonda on the South West coast of Florida in Charlotte County, often referred to as Florida's hidden secret, or the real Florida. It is near the beachside town of Englewood on the Gulf of Mexico. The International Airports of Tampa (1.5 hours) and Fort Myers (1 hour) provide easy access to this area.

Englewood has over 27 miles of white sandy beaches, many of which are almost deserted during the week. With Manasota Key to the North and Boca Grande to the South, our villa is perfectly located 15 mins drive to these fabulous beaches where pelicans fly overhead and dolphins swin in the sea. Englewood is one of the last parts of the Florida coastline to be discovered and is being developed on strict guidelines. Nearby Port Charlotte caters for all those craving retail therapy with a large Mall, whilst the Outlet Malls of Sarasota are 45 mins drive away.

There are plenty of local attractions and many activities available in the area. Golf courses abound in the area and nearest is five minutes from the villa

Rotonda consists of many beautiful homes, which have been built on large lots amidst natural lakes, canals and golf courses. Many Americans and Canadians have made this area their home and you will be staying in a quiet and peaceful residential community. Which is also home to an array of Florida wildlife including pigs, otters, raccoons, bobcats, turtles, alligators and a variety of birds. A nature reserve and conservation area has been maintained in the centre of the Rotonda, where you can get close to 'Real Florida'.

With stunning beaches, fantastic wildlife, golf, and an array of attractions nearby, surrounded by numerous restaurants and excellent shopping opportunities, our villa is ideally situated to enjoy all the area has to offer

Golf is a 'must' for many Americans and in an area where the weather is good and life is for enjoying, golf courses come as standard and you will be spoilt for choice. There are currently 6 courses within the Rotonda Development and upwards of 30 outside within a 15-20 mile radius. From May to October the courses are quiet and tee times can often be arranged the same day. Many courses include an electric golf cart as part of the fee and a few courses insist on their use.

Restaurants are everywhere and you can enjoy friendly and attentive service while enjoying a spectacular sunset or simply enjoying the warmth of Florida's weather. It is not expensive eating out here, but if you are prepared to pay a little more, there are some excellent restaurants in the area, particularly in Port Charlotte and Boca Grande.

In conclusion whilst everything is close at hand you can relax in quiet and peaceful surroundings in our villa.

We have a very helpful and efficient management company, who look after the maintenance of the property, which includes weekly pool service, lawn maintenance and cleaning after your stay.

In addition to office hours for general help and advice about the villa and the area, they are available 24 hrs a day in case of emergencies.

About the villa

This stunning villa is spacious and fully air-conditioned and sleeps up to 8 people. There are 4 bedrooms including 2 master suites (one king and one queen) and 2 twin bedrooms which share a further bathroom. Both master suites have their own TV / DVD. There are 2 separate lounge areas one of which features a 32 inch satellite TV, DVD and CD, all TV's in the villa are satellite and recieve over 100 channels. The other lounge provides a restful spot merely to relax, this room also serves as a dining room for those more formal dining occasions if required. A large fully equipped kitchen including microwave and dishwasher provides a more casual dining area. A separate utility room with washer and dryer completes the accommodation.

The villa is ideal for two family groups but equally suitable for smaller parties, which require that extra space, it is furnished throughout to a high standard in traditional Florida style.

The 2 master suites, kitchen and formal dining area give access to the South West facing spacious lanai and extended deck area where the 14ft by 26ft electrically heated swimming pool awaits, (pool heating recommended between November and April at an extra cost).

The pool area is fully equipped with sunbeds, a large table and 6 chairs for alfresco dining, it looks out down the meandering canal and the nature reserve, it should be noted there are no further properties to the right of the villa which adds to the privacy. Being close to the nature reserve ensures a variety of birds including, eagles and herons, regularly fly overhead. Not to mention the family of otters who nearby, and can be seen on a regular basis in the lake alongside the villa.

We have sought to provide every conceivable extra including toys, books, games, pool toys, beach accessories, CD's and DVD's to help you enjoy your vacation. All towels including beach towels provided.

There is a Gas BBQ for those hot sunny days when you do not feel like cooking indoors.

The tranquility, the scenery, the luxury, the space, everything was just great!!! As we (parents and 15-year old boy/girl twins)had already heard about this place a lot from friends who stayed here in 2008, we had high expectations. But it was even better than we expected! This is clearly not just another rental home, but a home that the owners take loving care of. It is kept in tiptop shape and well cleaned. Gasparilla Island beaches are amazing and almost empty and there are plenty of shops and restaurants only a short car drive away from the villa. The extensive information we received beforehand from the owners saved us a lot of time because we could go directly to the places which interested us the most.
We are certain we will never find a better equipped and situated villa ever again. Thanks Derek and Wendy for letting us stay in your beautiful home. We hope to be back some day!

"A beautiful villa in a great location"
Six of us stayed in the villa and thought it was great! It is exceptionally well equipped, very comfortable and was very clean and tidy when we arrived. The owners sent us lots of useful information before we left the UK and kept us up to date on recent viewings of the wildlife. The nearby beaches are very good and we found plenty of good places to play golf and eat out. I would definately recommend this villa and location.

Yes, we had a wonderful time thank you. The house was very nice - well equipped and so well situated. It is far and away the nicest place we have stayed in. Everybody loved it to bits.

There were absolutely no problems with the house or any other aspect of the holiday. We have never stayed in the area before but now look forward to returning in the future. Now the children are older, Orlando seems a bit 'seen it - done it'. We cannot think of one place we visited that we did not love.

We left a few inflatables and a couple of surf boards in the garage to stock up the toy selection. We had great use out of them and somebody else should too.

We saw so much wildlife, it would be a very long mail if I described it all.

We have visited Florida many times over the last ten years (although this was only our second visit to the gulf coast area) and we all thought that it was the best villa we have ever stayed in! With the exception of one rainy day on Tuesday this week, we had wonderful weather for the whole period of our holiday and it was bliss lying by your pool in total privacy enjoying the wildlife!!

Dear Derek and Wendy,

Firstly many thanks for the security deposit which arrived shortly after we returned.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Orlando was enjoyable but I think that we'd probably give it a miss in the future at least until we go again with our grand children.

It was the first time that we'd been down to Englewood although we have stayed at Venice before. We found all the directions and instructions you gave us excellent and had no problem getting to the agent's office and villa. We all thought your property was very nice, spacious, and well furnished. I went over and introduced myself to your neighbours who were very pleasant. There was birdlife in abundance and whilst we were driving out of Rotonda on one occasion Mary saw a family of wild boar coming out of the bushes. We went to a variety of beaches and fitted in visits to Gasparilla Island, Venice Sanibel and Captiva islands, Siesta Key and Sarasota. We found the restaurants good and all in all had a thoroughly enjoyable week at Pine Creek.

Stayed at Pine Valley Creek Villa when I recently visited Florida on a business trip. I thought that staying in a villa with all that extra space would be much better than being cooped-up in a faceless hotel. What an inspired decision!

The location is great, nice and quiet and very private. The villa is beautifully presented and spotlessly clean and after a long day of meetings there was nothing better than sitting by your own private pool with a cool beer watching the sunset and the wildlife – truly an oasis of tranquility and calm.

Derek and Wendy called during my stay to ensure everything was OK and there’s lots of info in the villa for places to eat, shop, golf, fish etc. I can’t speak highly enough of the place and I will certainly be using the villa again when I return to Florida.

I am in Rotonda at the moment for a week in a spacious superb villa (thanks
Derek). Having never been in this area before I was unsure of what to expect
but it has exceeded expectations. The beaches are second to none (saw an
iguana in the car park), great restaurants, wildlife a plenty. This seems
like the 'real' Florida.

asked for more. Everything was exceptionally clean and tidy
The villa itself is idealy located, a fantastic place to relax and watch
the various wildlife across the canal and lake. - We were lucky enough to
spot a couple of small gators, numerous fishing birds and the highlight was
without doubt a bobcat.

Very nice home, very clean and nicely decorated.

and to the side. Spacious grounds. Very pleasant
pool area.
Area full of natural wildlife.
Adjacent to 27 hole golf course.
About 20 min drive to many restaurants (usual chains)
and about 15 minutes to beaches and the beautiful
Gasparilla island.
Would recommend staying here and owner is very good
and cares that his guests have a good stay.
