All Pizza’s are NOT the same - Orlando / Florida Guide

We had been out all day long walking around one of the Disney parks and were feeling hot and weary. We had gone over to Florida with some friends to share the Disney experience, between us we have 5 kids of various ages, and they were all tired out after the long day and were very hungry.
This was our first trip to Disney in which we stayed in a villa rather than a Disney resort we found a couple of leaflets left by previous guests or the owners for a pizza deliveries.
Anyone fancy pizza? asked my wife, I knew my eldest son wasn’t that keen on pizza but he was way to tired to object and so we handed out the leaflets and a short while went by before we had all decided what we wanted, and this is where we made the first mistake! None of us had ordered in a takeaway pizza in the US , our experience was with the UK pizza deliveries such as place like pizza hut, boy were we in for a surprise, “how many pizza will we want” one of the wives asked, “one each” came numerous answers!!!
I wouldn’t class myself as greedy but I know I can do some serious damage to the big pizza’s in the pizza hut back home and both my kids could do the same, well after a time we ordered 3 for the four of us, our friends ordered similar.
We chose Dominos rather than the pizza hut, ordering was so simple as soon as we rang through and they answered the phone, they knew where we were without us having to tell them, the telephone system gives them the address. The Americans really do like to make things easy for you.
Within 20 minutes a delivery car pulled up and our pizzas had arrived, we saw this thin figure getting lots of boxes out of the car and it looked like he was struggling to carry a huge pile of stuff up the driveway
The door bell rang and we opened the door to see a pile of pizza boxes stacked high in the air with a pair of legs behind them, I cant quite remember the words said but I think they were on the lines of I think we may of over done the order a little.
We paid the deliver guy and formed a human chain to carry this vast supply of pizza for the Disney troops, we tried in vain to get them all on the table but we had not chance, “just look at the size of these pizza’s” one of the boys shouted
They were just like in the movies they were the diameter of a dustbin lid, crikey they were huge compared to the tiny things we get over here in Britain, well we mounted a full assault of troops against those pizza’s, time and time again we all attacked them hoping that we would be valiant in our struggle against the cheese and tomato army but it was not to be we were defeated shortly after or fourth attack!
Pizza’s like everything else in the USA are truly bigger than anything we have back home and not only that they taste much better.
Not to be out done a few of us launched a further attack the next morning against the pizza’s that had hidden away in the fridge overnight, finally we overwhelmed them but it was not without a struggle
