Beef O'Bradys Sports Bar is a chain of sports bars. The nearest one to our location is situated at the Ridgeview Plaza at the end of the CR54 and US27 junction. It is nothing special at all but good for a get together for sporting fans or just grabbing a quick bite to eat. The food is a bit basic; I was expecting something like Fridays when I heard about it initially.

We went for dinner mid week and it was only half full. The service was very good and we were shown direct to our table and our drinks order was taken immediately. Our chums had been before but it was a new experience for us.

We had 16 wings between us to start and broke them down to Teriyaki and Honey BBQ flavours! These were actually surprisingly nice and it is what I would in a bigger portion size if I ever dined there again.

For our main course we choose the black and blue burgers and a Salad with blackened fish (diet). You can actually split the main meals and the burger was a shared meal for our friends and what the chefs do is just it in half and give you two portions or French fries or curly fries and charge you an extra 50 cents which I thought that was a nice idea as not everyone has a large appetite. If I am honest my salad was a bad choice, the fish was undercooked and the salad was as if it had come out a packet with very dry cheese on top, but I guess that is what happens when you order healthy in a Sports bar! We choose not to have dessert on this occasion.

There are lots of TV screens with various sports showing and news. The bar is themed sporty and of course slightly Irish, well it would have to be with a name like Beef O'Bradys! The night we were in there were sports fans and tourists alike, the table next to us was an all male table of golfers, well they talked golf all night so you got to make that assumption! It reminded me of a café back in the United Kingdom rather than a bar as the seating was booth style although there was a small bar with barstools. Perhaps in other locations the place is bigger.

So if you are looking for a cheap and cheerful place to eat, you could do worse than choosing a Beefs!
