Champagne Brunch - at the Renaissance Resort (opposite the Seaworld entrance just off I4.

This is my favourite treat in Florida - for eating out. It is a little bit special located in the atrium of the Renaissance Resort Hotel - in a courtyard setting with an out-door feel surrounded by an aviary, giant koi pond, ice and butter sculptures. The food is amazing - from bread and fruit platters to breakfasts and salads. There is prime rib, salmon en-croute and a sushi barand an extensive seafood bar with an array of crabs claws , prawns, mussels, smoked salmon, tuna.

For "afters" there is a mouth-watering dessert bar with pies, gateaux, ice creams and petit fours. The piece de resistance - the silver platter "buffet" section with a medley of vegetables, pastas, quail in cherry sauce, prawn and scallops in a fabulous sauce, sirloin tips, stuffed chicken breast, duck a l'orange, lamb chops with mint jelly, mahi mahi - the list is endless. All served with fresh orange juice, as much "champagne" as you like followed by coffee and cream and perhaps a chocolate dipped strawberry (or 2, 3 and 4), if you please!!

For adults the cost is approximately $32 - for older children on the buffet $17 and for young kids there is a children's menu around the $6 mark. A bargain in anybodies book and perfect for any special occasion. If you happen to be lucky enough to be there at Easter complimentary flowers are put on your tables (to take home!!) and the kids are treated to an Easter egg hunt - where they can win a cash prize and go home with bucketfuls of presents in Easter eggs and pocketfuls of sweets - all free of charge (booking a MUST).

All in all a 5* experience waited on hand and foot and serenaded by a musical trio playing at every table whilst you eat (make sure you have a request!) Go on treat yourself - you know you are worth it!!

Champagne Brunch
This has always been my favorite place, too. For every special occasion and once in a while just for a special Sunday out. BUT, unfortunately they have been renovating for "ages" and it sounds doubtful that they are going to have the Champagne Brunch again.
