SATURDAY DAY 4
Another chill day planned today as I was expecting some great company tonight!
Just pottered around the villa again and decided that I really should unpack the bags and bags of shopping, so an hour or so later I had sort of organised it all. Had a healthy bite to ea, its a great benefit from having your own villa you can eat whatever you want when you want and can do it in your swimmers on the pool deck or inside the lovely airconditioned villa if you choose.
I then decided to go and see some more chums in a nearby villa for a natter and a cold drink on the deck, absolulte bliss and it was just glorious knowing the sun is high in the sky and you have the whole vacation ahead of you.
A very pleasant couple of hours later I went back to the villa and did some ownery type boring thimgs like cleaning and then the door knocker banged around 4 pm and another friend has been for a little walk and made it round to ours. So yet again we sat and chatted for an hour and then I pottered some more then overdosed on the food network channel!
About 9 pm I decided I needed to go to Publix as I was expecting company for breakfast too! From Publix I left to go down to the airport to pick up my mystery guest. Arrived at the airport 20 minutes later but I was too early as I was awaiting an internal flight from Memphis which had just touched down so after cruising round a couple of times I decided to park up so I looked for the sun pass lot and in I went and parked up.
I then arrived into the airport to see my mystery guest just disappearing down the escalator so a gentle YELL later we were reunited and there he was………… hubby. I hadn’t seen him for a couple weeks so doubly nice.
Again his visit was a surprise to all our friends as he was not expected this trip at all. I get tons more time off than him so it is not unusual for me to come over a couple of times a year on my own. So after collecting the luggage, driving back to the villa and a quick pad round the villa it was almost midnight and a rather tired family retired to bed!Page added on: 13 October 2007
