EATING/DINING AT MAGIC KINGDOM

There are of course many restaurants to chose from in Magic Kingdom so I have highlighted a few that we have visited during our years of holidaying in Orlando – I highly recommend character meals but there are also great “snack” type places here too (as with all Disney parks).

Character Dining

The Crystal Palace – We have dined here for lunch and it was fantastic – located at the end of Main Street on your left, just off the pathway to Adventureland there is a gorgeous buffet. The Characters that will visit your table are Pooh, Tigger, Piglet and Eeyore – book up prior to your visit or at the very least when you arrive at the park – well worth the money!

Liberty Tree Tavern – the characters such as Minnie, Goofy and their friends are dressed in Revolutionary War-era dress. Dinner is served family style and special kid-friendly items like macaroni cheese etc. This is not a buffet but a “good old American” menu. This is open from 4pm to late – again best to book.

Cinderella's Royal Table - is located on the second floor of Cinderella’s Castle. Cinderella usually meets the guests and the girl’s faces just light up. The Once-Upon-A-Breakfast is so popular and often gets booked up way in advance – call Disney for cancellations each day though if you haven’t planned ahead . Great breakfast here to set you up for a full day at the park: cream-cheese filled french toast, eggs, waffles, bacon, sausage and creamy home fried potato casserole. There is also a selection of juices and coffee from which to choose. I believe they are now doing lunch and dinner. Food is pre-plated but is all-you-care-to-eat bought to your table. Snow White, Belle, Jasmine, Aurora and other princesses are often seen here.

Fast Food Options

Casey's Corner – Every kind of hotdog imaginable here – chilli dog, cheese dog, foot long dogs etc. You can also get a drink here: great if you all like hotdogs!

Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe - This large fast-food spot is located in Frontier land, very close to Splash Mountain. It offers Burgers, hot dogs and fries plus other standard fast-food items.

Pinocchio's Village Haus - Another fast-food spot, this restaurant is located in Fantasyland to the right of the entrance to It's A Small World – they do great fudge sundaes here!

Lumiere's Kitchen – not always open but will be at busier times. It is good bet for "Kid's Meals" and also offers selections for adults. It is located between Pooh's Adventure's and Snow White's Scary Adventures in Fantasyland.

Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe - One of the largest fast-food spots at the Magic Kingdom Cosmic Ray's offers spit-roasted chicken, burgers, salads, soups and more – fantastic salad “top up” bar here – you buy your meal and then add as much salad as you wish. It is located just by the Grand Prix Raceway in Tomorrowland. Be sure to check out the in-house entertainment here!! It was actually quite cold the day we visited in March so it was nice to go in there and get something to eat, plus get a bit of a warm too!

Plaza Pavilion - Tomorrowland you can get your pizza fix here – plus chicken options. There is a Children's Value Meal - peanut butter & jelly sandwich with chips and a beverage $3.49 – great for US children but I think most UK children find this a bit unusual!

So many options we keep going back to MK to ensure we try them all!
