For a truly unforgettable, once in a lifetime experience, you can do no betterthan to visit Sea World’s sister park, Discovery Cove. Set in a tropical haven of white sandy beaches, swaying palms andglistening lagoons, Discovery Cove is the place in central Florida where youreally can realise your dreams of swimming with dolphins. With admission numbers strictly limited to just 1000 guests per day, youwill never feel cramped as you explore the lush green nature trails, swim inthe deep blue waters or dine in the all inclusive family restaurant. Needlessto say, the staff and trainers at Discovery Cove are always on hand to assistyou and answer any questions, in order to ensure that your day of relaxationand adventure really is a truly magical experience. An early start, in order to take in all that this fantastic park has tooffer, is definitely advised, and after your initial orientation is completed,you will be allocated a choice of swim times for that all important one on onedolphin encounter. (Of course, if you prefer not to take advantage of thedolphin swim and merely wish to relax amongst a background of nature’s bounty,you are free to do so). Another delight of this magical park is the free flight aviary, entered byswimming beneath the crashing waters of an overhead waterfall, where you canonce again interact, feed and get to know new feathered friends, who will notonly delight you with their beauty and stunning colours, but also by theirtrusting nature, as they glide deftly to your open hand. With wet suits, snorkels, towels and goggles all provided, you are free tospend as much time as you wish swimming and floating in amongst the reefs andgrottos to witness, up close and personal, the splendour and vivid colours oftropical fish, sting rays and even sharks! Without doubt however, everyone’s highlight at Discovery Cove is theirdolphin interaction. Much has been written about the bottlenose dolphin, andthey seem to hold a special place in all our hearts. Certainly, once you have swum with these majestic and beautiful creatures,witnessed first hand their sense of fun, experienced their grace, agility andpower, you will be hooked for life, and want to return again and again torepeat what is truly a humbling and in some cases, a life changing experience.
