General

  • Don't forget your sunscreen!
  • Measure your child's height before you arrive at the Park so you knowwhich attractions they will be able to ride.
  • Many Disney Cast Members can speak more than one language. The flags ontheir name badges show which languages they speak.
  • Study a map of the Park prior to your arrival so that you have an idea ofwhere you want to base your party.
  • Lockers, towels and life vests for children are available for rent. Lifevests are provided free of charge for Guests who wish to leave anidentification card.
  • If you want a sun lounger it’s a good idea to arrive early – especially inthe summer!
  • Disney's Water Parks have a variety of snack food stands and counterservice restaurants however there are also picnic areas where you can enjoyyour own food, however no alcoholic beverages or glass containers arepermitted.
  • Parking and inner tube usage are included with admission in each WaterPark.
  • When arriving at the Parks if you head for the back and do those ridesfirst they tend to be less busy.
  • If the big water chutes and slides are a little too fierce! Don’t worrythere are plenty of gentler activities, my favourite are the "lazy rivers"that circle the entire Park. Hop in and relax!
  • Bring water shoes when visiting the Water Parks. The ground can get veryhot and so will your feet!
  • During the busy summer months, the best time to visit a Disney Water Parkis after 3 p.m.
  • Ladies if you intend to ride the big slides like Summit Plummet atBlizzard Beach and Humunga Kowabunga at Typhoon Lagoon you may wish toconsider leaving the bikini at home and sticking with a one-piece swimsuit!

Blizzard Beach

  • Look for locker, towel and life jacket rental at Snowless Joe's — to theright after you enter.
  • Disposable underwater cameras, which are great for taking pictures on allof the water attractions, are available for purchase at Singapore Sal's nearthe main entrance but you can also buy them more cheaply in the supermarkets.
  • Swim wear with rivets, buckles or exposed metal is not permitted on theattractions.
  • Disney's Blizzard Beach is home to Summit Plummet, the tallest water slidein the whole U.S.A.

Typhoon Lagoon

  • Learn to surf at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon before the Park opens for $125per person plus tax. Call 407-939-7529 for reservations.
  • There's no need for waterproof watches — you can always check the time onthe Park's Clock Tower.
