There are some really great restaurants at West side, whether you’re looking for a light lunch, or blow-out belt busting dinner, you won’t be disappointed. All the restaurants are non-smoking. Bongos Cuban Café Open from 11am – 2 am – 7 days a week Priority seating available on 407 828 0999 This 550 seat, 16,000 square foot restaurant opened in 1997, and is the brainchild of the International singer Gloria Estefan and her husband Emilio. It is spread out over 2 floors with both indoor and outdoor tables as well as 3 separate bars. The menu is Cuban and specialities of the house include Bistec la Milanesa - breaded Cuban steak topped with marinara sauce and melted mozzarella cheese Enchilada de Camarones - jumbo Shrimp cooked in a Homemade Creole Sauce Chicharrones de Pollo - lightly floured Chicken chunks marinated in Cuban Mojo There is also a kids menu offering more typical “kid friendly” favourites such as steak, chicken nuggets and cheeseburger with rice, fries or maduros (sweet plantain) House of Blues Open for Lunch and Dinner Priority seating available for Music Hall events and Sunday Gospel Brunches call 407 934 2583 This is one of our personal favourites, the atmosphere, service and food have always been brilliant. The menu is a mix of American and Southern with mouth watering main courses like voodoo shrimp, slow smoked baby back ribs, Creole seafood jambalaya, Louisiana crawfish, steaks, burgers and pizzas. Don’t make the mistake of not leaving room for their legendary home made white chocolate and banana bread pudding…yummy! There is an outside bar area where you can listen to live music while enjoying a pre dinner drink. Planet Hollywood Open from 11am – 1am – Bar closes at 2am. Preferred seating is available on a limited basis at least 24 hours in advance on 407 827 7827 or 407 939 3463 No visit to Downtown Disney is complete without a trip to this amazing restaurant. You can’t fail to see the huge Blue Globe as you drive into the West Side car park. It’s themed dining is inspired by the greatest collection of Movie memorabilia.
