Cap’n Jacks Restaurant Open from 11.30am – 10.30pm Located right on the lagoon at Downtown, it is well worth requesting a window table. The cuisine definitely favours fish lovers with clam chowder, garlic oysters, crab cakes and seafood pasta – there is of course steak and ribs on the menu! Don’t forget to try their signature drink, a strawberry margarita. Earl of Sandwich This counter service is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and offers gourmet sandwiches, salads, deserts and beverages. Great for the guest on the go! Fulton's Crab House Open for lunch and dinner Priority seating 407 939 3463 Dine out in style on this turn of the century replica riverboat permanently docked on the wharf at the entrance to Pleasure Island. Although it’s menu is predominantly seafood, there are over 50 fresh seafood selections shipped (or flown!) in daily, they also offer the obligatory steaks and chicken. Don’t miss the Stone Crab claws if you’re lucky enough to be intown during the season. Ghirardellis Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop Open 10am – 11pm weekdays and until midnight on weekends Pure Indulgence! For the ultimate hot chocolate, ice cream sundae or banana split you need look no further. Magnifico! McDonalds Open Sunday – Wednesday 8am – 1am Thursday – Saturday 8am – 2am Well what can you say, it’s McDonalds and the kids love it! You can always use it as a bribe if you want to spend some time looking round the shops! Portobello Yacht Club Open for lunch and dinner – For priority seating call 407 939 3463 This is one of our all time favourite restaurants, we really love to get an outdoor table overlooking the lagoon – you can ALMOST imagine you’re in Italy! This is one of the restaurants that gets really busy so it’s definitely worth phoning ahead for your table. A few of our favourites! However we really enjoyed dinner amidst the trumpeting elephants and chest-pounding gorillas! The kids will absolutely love this dining experience.
