My Favourite Disney Park Part 3 - Orlando / Florida Guide

You may recall in my last article I wrote about how my favourite park was Magic Kingdom but right at the end I started to wonder what about MGM studios or as it now known Hollywood Studio’s …. that’s a cool park for sure.
After much though and a recent visit to Hollywood studios I now can honestly say it’s my favourite.
Our first visit to Hollywood studios was on a very very hot day, we had arrived at the busy time when everyone else was arriving, as a result it was very busy at the popular shows and rides and there was a big queue for the Indiana Jones stunt spectacular which we had decided to visit first.
Rather than wait in a big long queue in the sweltering heat we decided to try the Sounds Dangerous with Drew Carey show as there was little or no queue and the wait time was short plus it was air conditioned always a big plus in the heat. This is, in my view, a very underrated and often missed show, people simply pass by it without even realising its there or taking any interest into what it contains. Myself and my family found it very funny and the special sound effects are very very good indeed, its one not to be missed.
Then there is possibly the best live show in any of the Disney parks the Indiana Jones stunt spectacular, this is without doubt the best live action show for people of all ages although its looking quite old now its still a must see on every visit to Disney.
Then there is the star tours ride this is still one of our families favourite despite at least 10 to 15 times we have been on it, and then there is the great movie ride yet another one of the great shows in Hollywood Studio’s that is often missed by people walking by. This is a great ride to relax on because you get to ride on a vehicle throughout the long show and as with every inside show in Disney it’s fully air conditioned a great choice for when you trying to cool down from the Florida sun.
But without a doubt my favourite show in Hollywood Studio has to be the Muppet Vision 3D, although I don’t think my wife shares the same view as me, maybe it the fact that like most men I haven’t ever really grown up! I find parts of the Muppet vision 3D show absolutely hilarious maybe because I grew up as a kid watching it on UK TV but it’s a show not to be missed. All the famous characters are there with a hint of slap stick 3D the hecklers are simply the best interjecting with the show, it’s so so funny.
But then I set to thinking about what about The Disney water parks they have something special hmmmm……. . . Now is Hollywood Studio’s my favourite? I am not so sure! !
