I have visited Florida on many occasions and never eaten in a better place, this is without doubt one of the best places to visit in Florida.
If you have not been to The Hard Rock Cafe before they serve good old traditional American food (Burgers, steaks, chicken, huge salads etc), there is a awesome menu to choose from which normally takes you a good twenty minutes to get through. What I like about the Cafe so much is the size of each dish, These come on what can only be described as a flying saucer of a plate! If you do not eat much or on a diet I would not even bother with a starter.
The Hard Rock cafe itself is located right next door to Universal and Universal Islands of Adventure next to the large lake. This is an ideal location and is perfect for families who leave either of these parks late and want to get a bite to eat before they go home. There are two parts to the restaurant (normal eating restaurant and music venue). The music venue has been host to many bands and acts and often has live shows throughout th year, to find out who is playing when you are in Orlando, please visit the Hard Rock Cafe website.
As with most Hard Rock Cafe's, there are loads of music memorabilia on all the walls, so once you have finished your meal you can walk round looking at them (just remember not to lean over the tables when others are eating!). Most are even signed by the great artists (David Bowie, U2, Queen, The Rolling stones) to name a few.
The Cafe caters for small to very large groups (10+), each time we have been service has been excellent, and normally out under 30 minutes, even in peak times during the summer months they have always managed to get food out quickly. What I like best about The Hard Rock Cafe is the way the waiters/ servers are always very helpful and can advise you about anything on the menu.
Being so near Universal and Universal Islands of adventure I feel this is an ideal place to eat and visit and should be on your to do list while out in Orlando, everytime we have visited it has been a real great experience and everytime we see new stuff on the walls to look at (My favourite piece being the Jimmy Hendrix Guitar). Would I go back again, You bet!Page added on: 08 January 2006
