Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party 2010
If you have never been to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom it is a MUST DO. My parents who have been to many in the past are at the villa early December on their own but they still plan to go!
The dates for this year’s party are:
November 8th, 11th, 12th, 16th, 18th, 19th, 28th, and 30th
December 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, 10th, 12th, 14th, 16th, 17th, and 19th.
Officially the hours of the party are 7. 00pm until Midnight however we have been allowed in as early as 4. 00pm although the actual party itself does not start until 7. 00pm. You will need to enter by the turnstiles on the right hand side. Often in these early hours you will find a lot of the day visitors are going home and a lot of the evening guests have not arrived so it is relatively easy to get on the rides.
You need a special ticket for this event not just your normal day pass. For some of the dates although I am not sure which you may buy slightly cheaper tickets in advance. If you are already in the park on a day pass and have a ticket for the party you will need to get your wristband from a location next to Stich’s Great Escape.
Amongst the special party features this year are:
Castle Dream Lights on Cinderella Castle, I have already seen photos of these and they look spectacular.
Mickey' s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade: 8:15 and 10:30 PM
Holiday Wishes Fireworks: 9:30 PM
“A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas' Show: 7:45, 8:45, 9:55, 10:50 & 11:45 PM. Friends of ours have seen this and say it was very good.
' Celebrate The Season' Show: 7:45, 10:05 & 11:20 PM
There are Meet and Greet opportunities with Disney Characters throughout the evening and if you leave late in the evening there are always several characters by the exit gates. I know this year there should also be Meet and Greet at Mickey' s Toontown Fair and Fantasyland.

During the evening you will also enjoy snow fall in Main Street as well as free cookies and hot cocoa! It really is a good party.
