Ming Court Restaurant
Ming Court is located at 9188 International Drive. This is about one mile south of Sand Lake Road and a mile North of the Beach Line Expressway. It is just across the street from the Pointe Orlando Shopping Center and is adjacent to the Rosen Plaza Hotel.
Established in 1989 by the Wu and Chen families the Ming Court has been serving up some of the most delicious oriental cuisine to locals and visitors from around the world. The restaurant is set on a 2 acre site and is surrounded by the most beautiful gardens. The menu features an extensive selection of authentic Dim Sum, Sushi, Wok and Grill dishes. The atmosphere is casual and whether you’re looking for an intimate occasion for two overlooking the Koi pond or a special treat for your entire family, Ming Court will be one of those special places you and yours will always remember for all the right reasons.
There is also a children’s menu at Ming Court and young diners are tempted by selections such as the Emperors Hidden Treasure (chicken tenders! ) Happy Dragon Feast (super tasty BBQ sliced pork! ) Dynasty Yum Yum Delight (yummy sliced beef! ) and Shanghai Lucky Fortune (golden popcorn shrimp! ) – all come with a choice of sides and a fortune cookie and you can also add Ice cream and soda.
Open daily for lunch and dinner and also features live Oriental folk music in the evenings which features the Zheng and Erhu instruments. The Erhu or Chinese violin dates back a thousand years and is a two stringed instrument played with a bow, it is considered one of the leading Chinese instruments for both solo and orchestral performances and has a three octave range. The Zheng or Chinese Zither has 21 strings and a four octave range dates back to 300 B> C and is one of the most popular Chinese instruments.
There is free parking and Making reservations is easy as they will accept calls to 407 351 9988 or if you visit their website you can book via Open Table or send them an email although be aware that email reservations take 48 hours to be confirmed. The only exception to this is on Sundays when they only accept walk in guests.
