Nail and Tan Salon - Championsgate
When most people go to Orlando they normally come back more tired than when they left home. Sound familiar! Well now there is a way to freshen up and have a little pamper time. If you are staying near Championsgate why not spend some time at Nail and Tan. Here you can have a pedicure, manicure, acrylic nails, overlays and nail art. If the sun does not shine why not go on the sunbeds.
Finding Nail and tan could not be easier, follow the signs to Championsgate and it is located next to the large Publix supermarket. Costs for some treatments are a lot cheaper than you would get back home, for instance around $20 will get you a full pedicure treatment.
During some of the treatments you sit in a large leather chair which has a large foot spa on the bottom. The chair also has a large massage machine in the back to get rid of all those knots in your back.
The treatment I had was a pedicure where they first start off washing your feet in the hot spa. They then add some foot scrub that removes any excess skin. The next stage they cut my nails and cuticles. Then they got a scalpel to remove any hard skin. When they first showed me the scalpel I was a little nervous and thought it would hurt, however it tickled more than anything, so I should not have worried. The final part of the treatment was to have my feet cleaned and peppermint foot lotion massaged into my calf and feet.
My next treatment was to have my nails manicured. This was done by the same person that did my feet so there was no need to wait around. I had the full maincure which lasted around 30 minutes and cost about $25. This treatment works out at very good value for money and is a great way to treat yourself.
All in all the experience was a very good one. When I first entered the salon my feet were tired and hurt from all the walking we had done at the parks. When I left I was refreshed and ready for the second weeks activities. For value for money you really can’t beat the Nail and Tan salon at Championsgate, with outstanding service and a great treatment menu, why not give it a look next time you are there.
