The Outback
Two on the Highway 192 - towards the Western Disney end at Formosa
Gardens and the other towards the Orange Blossom Trail end of the 192 (4 mins on
the left past Super Walmart), one near Florida Mall and another at Winter Haven
(much quieter and usually served straight away)
One of our favourite restaurants is The Outback
where you can get a house steak for around $12. For starters try a delicious
Blooming Onion, a large onion battered and served with a spicy dip. The house
steak is the best value for money and comes with seasoning but will come un
seasoned if you request. You can have steamed vegetables, baked potatoes or
Aussie chips! The pork and chicken is also recommended. For the beer drinkers
there are large glasses and for the driver/children free refills on soft
drinks. The children's menu is very reasonable and they provide colouring
activities to keep them occupied.

3189 S. John Young Pkwy;
4220 Vine Street (HWY 192) and another on the US27 just past the entrance
to Southern Dunes Golf Course.
If you fancy a barbecue try Sonny's barbecue pit.
Fantastic range of salad and different potatoes dressings. A barbecue supper
for four including soft drinks, a large selection of meats including beef, pork,
ribs and chicken, plus chips, beans and coleslaw is less than $30.
