One of our favorite places to visit while in Orlando is Epcot and especially The Rose & Crown Pub in England around the World Showcase Lagoon. One of the most popular places to eat around the lagoon it is advised to pre book on arrival in Epcot or even book before you arrive in Florida.

A very friendly reception awaits you on your arrival from the British staff as they show you to your table and place the mouth watering menu full of fabulous British Dishes in front of you.

Firstly your drinks order will be taken, where on offer especially for the male members of your party is the traditional British pint. Lager or Bitter on draft is served chilled and certainly brings that feeling of back home to you. Spirits, Juices, all recognized brand names are there to quench your thirst.

The Menu has a wonderful choice of Traditional British food, our particular favorite being the Fish & Chips and a firm favorite with our Kids, The Cumberland Sausage, Mash and Onion Gravy. We can highly recommend the deserts also, where Apple Pie with Fresh Cream or Sticky Toffee Pudding always seems to be the choice to finish off a filing but delicious meal. For some reason the Rose & Crown has always been our last meal in Florida before we head to the airport to board our plane home.

The Rose & Crown like all British Pubs boast a Bar packed with various different drinks, so you don’t have to dine to get a drink. All drinks taken outside will be served in plastic cups where as if you stay inside then your drink should be served in a glass. The restaurant part is based at the back of the pub or outside overlooking the lagoon. In a relaxing dining environment, you are sure to have a fantastic meal while in the heart of Disney.

I can highly recommend dining at the Rose & Crown in the evening. If you are lucky enough to get a booking around 7. 30pm there is every chance that you will be able to stay at your table while the Music, Fire & Firework Display of Reflections of Earth is hosted at 9pm. We have managed on two occasions to be lucky enough to be seated at one of the outside tables over looking the lagoon in complete comfort while viewing this absolutely amazing show. No large crowds to contend with just a seat at one of the best viewing points around the Lagoon.

The Rose & Crown in Epcot is one of our favorite diners for that typical British dish enjoyed in complete comfort in an amazing environment. So next time your passing, give it a try as you won’t be disappointed.
