Ross Dress for Less is an outlet style store with branches through out the Orlando area and also States wide. The shop is often packed out and the service can leave a lot to be desired sometimes, for example, long queues with only a couple of assistants behind the checkout and they are in no rush! However if you are a true shopaholic and bargain hunter as I am you can just about put up with this. It is a good tip however to leave kids and partners behind!

It is also best to try to visit early and not on a weekend, especially Sunday’s. If you go to the branches in the tourist areas like I Drive be prepared for it to be busy most of the time. The opening hours are good though and it is open until 9 pm every day except Sunday where it closes at 6 pm. For November and December some of the stores are open until 11 pm because of the holiday shopping!

Inside the store you will find various departments including:

Handbags: Mainly unbranded names but you occasionally find things like XOXO, Liz Claiborne and Nine West.

Shoes: Mainly unbranded but reasonably priced.

Accessories: Hair decoration, belts, sunglasses, hats etc..

Toiletries: Bubble baths, presumes, toilet and make up bags, etc..

Ladies Wear: Absolutely everything you could imagine in all sizes as they have a plus section also, every one is generally catered for.

Children’s wear: Normal thing, infant and baby wear.

Men’s wear: Good selection of men’s clothing, including sports wear with the likes of Nike, Reebok, and Addidas.

Teens: Good selection of the latest fashion to keep Missy and Master happy!

Jewellery: Some costume and hallmarked also behind the counter plus watches.

Home wares: Decorative items for every room in the house from lamps, throws, furniture, mirrors, cutlery, crockery, glassware, curtains, and curtain poles etc. etc..

Bedding: Comforter sets (Bed in a Bag), sheets, pillow slips, cushion, pillows. Duvets, covers etc. etc..

Towels: in every size and colour and some time designer names such as Hilfiger and Ralf Lauren.

Pictures and wall art.

Books: Only a small selection but does have a few good children’s books

Food items such as Candy, cookies, coffee, tea etc

As a last bit of advice, look for a cart without the pole designed to stop you taking it out of the store as if you are loaded down with shopping or bulky items you have to carry them to the car from the shop as the trolley is designed to stay in the store!
