Sandy Ridge is a new community located near the prestigious Championsgate and only 10 minutes from the heart of Disney. The community is around 30 minutes from Orlando International airport and around 1 hour from Sanford airport. To visit Disney and all the attractions you could not be better placed, being only 10 minutes from Disney and around 25 minutes to Universal Studios. Being a new community it is located in one of the most sought after areas in orlando.
Sandy Ridge is located in between 2 conservation areas and because of this is very quiet and peaceful. This is a real bonus if you are looking for a quiet time while staying at your villa accommodation. Once into Sandy Ridge all you can hear is peace and quiet.
When you first enter Sandy Ridge you will notice it has a very bright Mediterranean feel, with all the villas having bright colour schemes. This really does set the community apart from all the others. You will find many different types of villa on Sandy Ridge, from 1 storey to large 2 storey properties. Each property has plenty of space and is ideal to for a vacation base. All properties on Sandy Ridge have their own private pools.
Most of the villas on Sandy Ridge are spacious and can accommodate between 8 – 14 people in comfort. Some of the villas (over 70%) overlook either a lake or conservation area, making this an ideal location if you are after that bit of privacy as well.
Within short distance of the community you will find many shops and food outlets, these are in the nearby Championsgate shopping complex. To find these could not be easier as you turn left out of the community and follow the road for 3- 4 mins. Within Championsgate you have, Mcdonalds, Publix supermarket, Walgreens drug store, UPS, Beauty salon, Italian restaurant, plus many more.
If you like Golf there is the very impressive Reunion Golf course and even in Championsgate they have courses designed by Greg Norman and Jack Nicklaus. Located at the golf course there is a golf academy run by David Lebetter school.
With so much choice within such a short distance Sandy Ridge really does offer families an ideal place to vacation. You are ideally positioned for all the parks and attractions, yet are set back from the hustle and bustle of the large roads to be able to enjoy a quiet day or night by the pool.Page added on: 14 July 2006
