Try shopping at Kohls!
Kohls is a store that many visitors to Florida don' t discover! It' s a department store - selling all sorts of goodies - at bargain prices!
There is a Kohls store along the Highway 27 close to Clermont. Travel towards Clermont (from the direction of the Highway 192) and you will find Kohlson the right, just before Clermont - opposite a Walmarts superstore.
There is also a Kohls store at the Loop shopping centre - pick up the Oscola Parkway in Disney and follow it for around 5 to 8 miles - you will see the Loop on the left hand side of the road.
We always start our holiday with a visit to Kohls. We travel light - almost empty suitcase - and buy our shorts and T shirts at Kohls on day one of the holiday! There is inevitably a sale - and make a bee-line for the sale rail - where you will find unbelievable bargains. There are brand name clothes as well as their own.
At Christmas time, if you are looking for presents, you' ll be spoilt for choice. Jewellery - both gold or silver and costume, handbags, shoes, clothes, toys, homeware . . . . .
Someone you know having a baby? The baby clothes are superb. A fraction of the cost that they are in the UK. Take home a present - and one that the new baby won' t have duplicated!
There are ample changing rooms for you to try your clothes on before you buy. No limit to the number of items you can take in either!
Consider looking at the Kohls website before you leave for Florida. Register your email address with them and they will send you details of their money off offers and sales. Very often, you will receive a printable voucher for further money off discounts.
If you are planning a girlie shopping trip you will for sure enjoy! However, apart from the mens' clothes section there is little to appeal to the men. May be worth going to the Kohls at the Loop so that hubbie can wander around the Best Buy electronics store or the book store whilst you browse the clothes!
I ususally manage to fit several trips to Kohls each holiday! The sale offers change all the time and the stock is regularly updated.
Oh - and I almost forgot - they have ' seniors days' too and unlike the UK this is for age 55 and over - if you fit the bill it' s well worth it for the additonal 10% discount!
Finally - when you are buying up the bargains - don' t forget that there is a limit to the amount of goods you can take back through customs into the UK!
