Here is a guide to each area of Universal Studios with info on the rides, restaurants and shops in each “land”

The different areas consist of:

• Production Central
• New York
• San Francisco/Amity
• World Expo
• Kidzone
• Hollywood

Hollywood Boulevard is literally a street of dreams. Tinsel town landmarks line the way from the front gate to the Universal lagoon. Shops, restaurants and rides are combined to create a little taste of LA right here in Orlando.

Attractions

Terminator 2 – 3D – Battle Across Time.Virtual adventure based on the movie.Very popular and can have long lines.Original 3-D movie with Schwarzenegger, Hamilton and Furlong from the T2 movie.Universal Express Available.

Back in 1991 Sarah and John Connor with the help of the T-800 Terminator went on a mission to destroy Cyberdyne Systems by blowing up its headquarters and destroying the first T-800 parts left behind. By doing this they hoped to prevent the nuclear war and the end of mankind and stop the Rise of the Machines. Well it seems the future was not prevented as you are touring the "New" Cyberdyne System headquarters. Cyberdyne fills you in on who they are and what they hope to achieve (Global Domination of Global Communication) which looks and sounds great, but then Sarah and John hack into the Cyberdyne video and warn you who Cyberdyne really is and warn you to leave the building before it's too late.

You then head into the main theatre to get a sneak peek into their newest invention the T-80 or The Terminator. John and Sarah crash through the ceiling and break up the show. At the same time the T-1000 comes into the stage to take care of John Connor, a fire fight breaks out, as hope of survival dims the T-800 arrives to even the playing field and takes John with him to the future to destroy SkyNet. The thing they must face is the T-1000 which has followed them to the future. With some good shot gun work the Terminator takes him out of the picture. On their way to SkyNet the motorcycle is hit by gunfire, so they must continue the journey on foot. They face some minor obstacles and arrive at SkyNet, where they are greeted by the T-1Million the most advanced Terminator ever constructed. Can they once again overcome these machines and save mankind?

Universal Horror Make Up Show - Theatre show. Explores the art of horror film makeup and special effects. On stage demos, audience volunteer, film clips.

Universal Horror Make-Up Show, from the ghoulish monsters of the past, to the classic, to the remake of the Universal film Van Helsing, see how top make-up artists create amazing special effects from some of Universal's most popular movies. The show adds a bit of comedy to make for a rather unique and fun learning experience about the art of movie magic. Before the show check out authentic props and set pieces used in the film Van Helsing.

Restaurants

1. Beverly Hills Boulangerie features fresh croissants and pastries as well as terrific cheesecake from the famous Cheesecake Factory.
2. Café La Bamba – serving spit roast chicken and ribs along with desserts and drinks.
3. Mel’s Drive In is a recreation of a 50’s style diner, complete with classic cars and even jukeboxes on the tables. The menu is typical diner fare – burgers, fries and milkshakes.
4. Schwab’s Pharmacy is an old fashioned soda fountain.

1. Silver screen Collectibles is self explanatory.
2. The Brown Derby is a hat shop with a difference.
3. Cyber Image sells everything T2.
