Universal Studios - A Short Guide
Whenever I go to America my one of my favourite places to go to is Universal Studios (right next to another park called Islands of Adventure). I like going there because it has great rides such as the E. T. ride where you fly through space on a bike and visit E. T’s home planet. I also like going on the Jaws ride where Jaws attacks your boat and the driver of the boat has to save you from Jaws. There is the Men in Black ride where you have to shoot all the aliens you see and there is a secret even though at the start it tells you to never press the red button but during the ride it tells you to press the red button when you do it gives you loads more points, and my favourite ride is the Return of the Mummy roller coaster it is very bumpy but very cool if you like roller coasters but if you don’t then it is very, very scary. But for all of these rides there is a height restriction so don’t be upset if you can’t go on some of the rides.
There are also shows that are on during the day including Fear Factor which is like the Fear Factor television show. People volunteer to go up on stage and do crazy stunts like having dead squids thrown at you by little kids from the audience. There is also the Horror Make-up Show where you get to see a massive remote control dummy of the Frankenstein’s monster. At the end of the day there is a Laser and Firework show where you look at massive globes and it shows you all the different movies that Universal Studios have made over the years such as Back to the Future, E. T, Men in Black and many, many more.
There is also loads of places to eat at Universal Studios such as Finnegans which is an Irish restaurant where you can order loads of different food types like Fish and Chips, Burgers, a complementary roll which is free and more. As well as loads of places to eat there are also loads of places to buy drinks which are dotted around the park because on a very hot day you have to pay attention to your fluid intake so you don’t get dehydrated and have to go to hospital.
