SATURDAY & SUNDAY 06 & 07 OCT
Had a chill day around the villa and pool, then had a tuna sub from Subway at Champions Gate for lunch. Hubby had a sub that seemed to have every ingredient that Subway sell! It is such a good value price too for a filling lunch.
Only time I actually went out the house on Saturday was to take hubby to the airport as he had to go back to work the following week.
I had that sinking feeling when I was on my way to the airport with him Saturday evening, probably coming out in sympathy with hubby but as soon as I saw the two Virgin planes on the ground I cheered up as I was not on them yet, poor hubby as I said “Oh I don’t feel so bad now, I still have 5 days left”.
I dropped hubby off at domestic departures as he was flying to Amsterdam via Memphis and we said our goodbyes as I was not going back til the following Thursday. I then drove back to the villa and spent the rest of the evening catching up on things and uploaded all our holiday snaps from the week.
Sunday was spent in a flurry of domestic chores, not something you need to worry about when you book your villa! Sunday evening I was a little weary from the domestic chores so decided I would treat my self to a Chinese take away as it was quick and easy and although not a favourite it was just so convenient as I did not want to cook. I drove up to the Ridgeview Plaza on the corner of the 54/27 and ordered my Happy Family with Singapore Noodles thinking I could freeze half of it but ended up just eating the good bit and binning the rest as I was so full!
Whilst I was waiting on my Chinese take away I even managed to fit in a bit of shopping and pick up some more things from Walgreens next door.
Tired and stuffed I then just watched a bit of my favourite digital channels and eventually fell into bed whacked and ready for my last few days as I had lots of things still on the agenda!
The following day was Columbus Day and I had lots planned so wanted to get up early to get the most of the following day.
