Seasons 52 is a grill and wine bar located at 7700 Sand Lake Road and is open daily for lunch and dinner.
The food is healthy, light and surprisingly tasty as we all know what “good for you” foods taste sometimes! Each meal is allegedly less than 500 calories we were informed. (On checking yes indeed the highest calorific meal was only 474 calories…great we shall be returning)! The prices were really quite reasonable for the tasty food offered. The menu changes with the season and there are various kinds of dishes on the menu which were light and refreshing as spring approaches.
The menu consisted of various starters ranging from soups, salads, Thai Beef, asparagus, jumbo shrimp cocktail, goats cheese, stuffed mushrooms and a few other choices to satisfy the most fussy of diner! (The restaurant does not use nuts either so that is useful in this day and age when many people suffer from nut allergies).
Next comes the choice of flatbreads which are quite yummy! The choices were
artichoke and goats Cheese, rosemary and parmesan, steak and mushroom, garlic chicken, vine tomato and shrimp. (Recommended you share one of these or you will be full up quickly)!
Here comes the main course…Yum! Again some really good priced dishes which were both appetising and tasty. There were full entrée sized salads to choose from and on offer were salmon, Greek, Portobello mushroom, vegetable and chicken cob.
Seafood and Meat were the other big choices on the menu and on offer they were serving Mahi Mahi, Salmon, Rainbow Trout, Tuna, Sea scallops and Crab stuffed with Shrimp. On the meat side of life there was Chicken Pasta, Spring Lamb. Grilled chicken breast, Pork Tenderloin, Filet Mignon and Turkey and vegetable skewers. (We can recommend the Filet and Tuna).
Dessert is a small affair; well you are trying to stay healthy! Each dessert is served in a small glass and is just enough to give you the sweet tooth feeling at the end of your meals. Such choices as Boston cream pie, rocky road, carrot cake, a Chefs special, Pecan pie, Strawberry and Mango cheesecake, red velvet cake, fresh fruit and not forgetting the obligatory Key Lime pie. Mango Sorbet is also served.
There is a great choice of wines to help compliment your meal and the service is very good. So if you fancy a healthy change why not head on out to Seasons 52?
