Disney Market Place and Downtown
A place I particularly like to visit whenever I go to America is Downtown Disney and Market Place. No holiday to America would be complete without going to “Disney-fied” place. Downtown Disney offers a whole range of activities to people of all ages. For the older people there is Boardwalk, which sisters Downtown Disney. This has access to clubs, alcohol, parties and fun times. In Boardwalk there is the world famous Cirque de Soleil. This is a fantastic show of acrobatics and gymnastic skill. I like it because it is a lively show that is great for all ages. Also for the children there is Disney Quest. This offers five floors of interactive madness. There are mind games, physical games and exciting retro one player games.I loved the simulated White Water Raft Ride.
Disney Marketplace has all the fun of the Disney parks. There is shopping for memorabilia and other items, such as soap and bath salts, decorative furniture, toys for your pets and many more. One of the restaurants that I most like to visit is the Rainforest Café.
The Rainforest Café is like taking a wild safari through the jungle whilst dining on some of the most amazing food ever. The shop and bar that are outside the actual restaurant itself are decorated to look like a jungle itself. This gets a whole feeling that you are right in the middle of a mysterious jungle.
An activity which I particularly enjoyed was going on a relaxing boat ride. I got to see a whole range of scenery whilst being on my own private boat. You rent out a boat for your family or friends, and the cost varies on how any people are in your party. You could also rent out your own speed boat to offer a high speed ride along a relaxing lake.
Located on the lake is Fulton’s crab house. The restaurant is made to look like a boat. It offers a whole array of seafood for all of your needs. The Disney shops offer more than your can get at the parks. The biggest Disney shop there is called “ World of Disney”. This is like a mega mall shop with different areas selling different things. The Lego shop that is there has life-size Lego models to enjoy.
The full experience of Downtown Disney can not be under estimated and needs to be experienced personally in order to appreciate all it has to offer.
