Four Corners
Four Corners is a lovely community along the US27. It is nestled in the heart of the Disney area just 4 miles from the HWY192 and the theme parks can be reached in less than 15 minutes but also is away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist area. Orlando International airport is about 40 minutes drive and Sanford airport is about an hours drive.
It is a quiet spot consisting of both rental and residential homes . There are all different types of houses ranging from single story ones to massive 6 bed-roomed ones, all with different qualities. Most of the rental ones have their own pools but some of the residential ones have not as the residents prefer to use the community one.
The community has it’s own swimming pool, cabana, children’s play area, basketball court and there is now a putting green being added which will be really good for the golfing enthusiasts.
Close to Four Corners there is a shopping complex called Berry town it has a supermarket, which is great for most of the day to day groceries and has a brilliant delicatessen for hot and cold food, excellent for vacationers that do not want to cook.
The range of restaurants around the area is second to none. At Berry town there is a great Chinese take away, the Bamboo Wok, a pizza shop, an Indian take away, a Bistro Bistro, and my favourite an Applebee’s. These restaurants are very reasonably priced and the quality of food is good.
Further along the US27 there is a Walgreen chemist that is open 24 hours, and more Restaurants like Cracker Barrel which has it’s own unique shop where you can buy some lovely unusual gifts to take home, another Pizza place, Denny’s, Perkins, a Waffle house, KFC and the famous Manny’s chop house. With all these different types of eating places there is always something for everybody whether it is a sit in meal or take away.
In the other direction there is a 24 hour Wal-marts, great for just about everything you need ( and don’t need ) A Lowes, newly open is a Chilli’s, another favourite and soon there will be opening a Golden Coral and KFC, so a great choice of place to stay.
The Atlantic coast is an hour away , where you will find great surfing beaches and the famous Ron Jon surf shop and of course the Kennedy space centre.
The gulf coast beaches of St. Petersburg are easily reached with a 2 hour drive too.
