Iceplorations at Busch.
Those of you visiting the Orlando area in 2012 have a sparkling new show to look forward to at Busch Gardens.
Iceplorations is the name to look for and it will be located in Moroccan Palace. Indeed, building is underway as I write.
This show will feature giant puppets, expert ice dancers, aerial manouveres and live animals. You are now wondering how they can feature live animals in an ice show? Well, so am I, but they ain' t telling! You certainly get a mental picture of them strapping ice skates onto an elephant!
The story line will feature a precocious young lad and his grand dad who decide to take a whistle stop tour of some of the world's most wondrous places.
During the show you will visit Africa, The Arctic, The Great Barrier Reef and a Rain Forest.
The first country they take you to is Africa where you will experience life in The Serengetti. This will feature elephants, cheetas and gazelles.
Next our intrepid pair take you to The Barrier Reef where they dive to the oceans floor to see sea urchins, turtles and eels.
A giant leap takes you next to the freezing Arctic and here you catch sight of the Aurora Borealis. Here we see Siberian lynx and of course huskies.
Finally we visit a rain forest and here the insistant racket of squirrel monkeys and macaws fill the air.
Throughout the show, Busch are promising us some great original music to complement the storyline.
This show will last aroung 30 minutes and it is due to start on february 1st. From the last week in november 2012 to january 1st 2013 the performance will transform into Christmas on Ice.
Busch Gardens is in Tampa Bay on the intersection of Busch Boulevard and 40th street. This is a fairly easy drive from your vacation villa; about an hour or so.

There are a plethora of eating places inside the park or you can do what we do and eat a snack while we are there and stop for a meal on the way home.
Whatever you do, make sure you allocate a least one full day to enjoy all that this theme park has to offer!
