Kim Possible at Epcot
If you are looking for an interactive experience that will involve all the family from three year old to ninety three year olds then I could thoroughly recommend Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure at Epcot. I had seen the advertisements for the Kim Possible experience and had assumed that it was more for a younger age group, being based on the children’s television series of the same name. However, I was persuaded by my three adventurous daughters, all aged in their twenties to have a go and must admit that I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Before your adventure starts you have to visit Innovations where you will find instructions and information. Here one member of your party will have to swipe their park ticket and enter the number of people in the party. You will then be informed when and at which Kim Possible kiosk your mission starts. There are several kiosks positioned around the World Showcase each one manned by a Team Possible helper. You will be given a “Kimmunicator”, an interactive state-of –the-art device which aids you in finding the Kim Possible characters and also provides clues needed to find the villains and stop their quest for world domination. Your first mission will be selected by the Kimmunicator. This can be in any one of the pavilions dotted around the World Showcase.
We collected our Kimmunicator in the Italy Pavilion and after receiving our brief from the Kim Possible team member we were directed to our first mission in the German Pavilion. Even though there is only one device each member of the team will get the chance to find a villain as there is often more than just one clue at each pavilion. After you have found all the clues in one particular country and defeated the villain you can then choose any one of the other pavilions, Japan, France, China, Norway, Mexico and United Kingdom which all host Kim Possible missions. Whichever pavilion you choose I am sure you will be as delighted as we were at the variety of clues cleverly hidden around the pavilions which only become visible when using the Kimmunicator.
You can complete missions at your own pace, we chose to break for lunch, but it is entirely up to your party whether to only attempt one or all of the missions. Whatever you decide to do I am sure you will enjoy it as much as we did.
