MANCHESTER AIRPORT
THINKING OF FLYING TO ORLANDO FROM MANCHESTER AIRPORT? . . . . . . . . THEN PLEASE READ ON.
Something I always like to read about is other people’s experiences of the journey over to Orlando. Strange you may think but I do like to hear all the details regarding everyone’s experience as there are many airlines, routes etc to choose from so I thought I would share my last trip over to the villa and my experience with fellow Orlando lovers traveling from Manchester airport.
I live presently in the North of England so the best airport for me where airlines are actually based which travel to Orlando is Manchester Ringway airport. The airport is very well served by road and rail. The railway station is actually situated with in the airport and there is also as a large bus station with buses and also the trains arriving from all over the country.
There are also plenty of hotels to stay in at the airport and that is something I normally do before I fly early morning as you are on site and have plenty of time and do not have to consider traffic etc. Now, don’t get me wrong I absolutely detest, with a passion hotels, the noise and inconsideration of other people drives me completely mad but for this one night I grin and bear it. The cost varies from £50-150 a night depending on where you stay as there are a few hotels just off site also.
Also depending on what airline you are using you can check in at Terminal 1 or 2. Both terminals are easy to find and both are clearly marked plus the various airline desks are easy to find and there is always someone around to ask if you get stuck.
Once you have checked in, you make your way through immigration, give yourself a couple of hours when you arrive to check in and get through immigration. The airlines recommend this time frame too.
Once through immigration, you hit the departure lounge and gates and lots of shops where you can stock up on last minute essentials. There are also places to eat and drink so you can get on board totally relaxed and ready for that holiday off a lifetime in your Orlando Villa.
On the way back, when you arrive at Manchester airport it is easy to but let’s get the holiday out of the way first!
