Shopping in Orlando
Orlando is paradise for shopaholics. It has some of the largest malls in the State such as the Florida Mall, Altamonte Mall, Seminole Town Centre and Fashion Square Mall where there are more than 600 stores to browse through.
Take Interstate 4 East to Highway 436. Turn right at the traffic lights at the end of the slip road and the Mall is on your left about 1 mile down.
Seminole Towne Centre
Take Interstate 4 East to Highway 46. Turn right at the bottom of the slip road and right again onto Rinehart Rd. The Towne Centre Mall is on your left.
Florida Mall (Largest in Central Florida)
Located at the intersection of 441 (Orange Blossom Trail) and SR 482 (Sand Lake Rd). Originally a 2.2 million square foot center including 6 department stores, over 200 specialty stores, 3 restaurants and a food court with 19 restaurants, this has been added on to a couple of times and there are now a third as many shops again. Stay all day!
Old Town - Kissimmee
A shopping attraction one mile east of Interstate 4 on the 192 in Kissimmee. Over 70 specialty shops and 5 restaurants all designed along a ’boardwalk’ theme.
192 Flea Market
There are several copycat flea markets but this is the original. Take 192 east for approximately 16 miles. The flea market is on your left approximately 1 mile past the Super 24 hour Wal-Mart. Free admission and parking with over 400 dealer booths selling everything from Disney souvenirs to crafts, jewellery, electronics and house wares.
Belz Factory and Designer outlets.
Located at the north end of International Drive. Easiest route is east on Interstate 4. Get off at Sand Lake Rd and turn right at the traffic lights, get into the left hand lane immediately and turn left at the next set of lights. Keep going for about 3 miles and you will see the Belz stores on both sides of the road. This road ends in a cul de sac with a massive turning circle so you can’t miss them.
Premium Designer Outlets
Take Interstate 4 east and exit at old Junction 68. Go straight across at the traffic lights and the mall entrance is on your right.
Mall at Millennia
The latest and definitely the most upscale mall in Central Florida. Macy's, Bloomingdales, Tiffany, Gucci and Jimmy Choo plus some quality restaurants in the centre of the Mall. Definitely worth a visit. Take Interstate 4 to Junction 77 (Conroy Rd). Turn right then right again into the mall.
For stores that offer general merchandise at good value for money the 3 favorite stores for most Americans are K-Mart, Wal-Mart and Target. These stores can be found along both Highway 27 and Highway 192.
