When I go to America, I like to eat out in restaurants. There is a whole range of places to eat. Some of my favourites include The Olive Garden, T. G. I Fridays, Bennigans and Houlihans.
These restaurants stick out because they have a wide selection of food, even if you are a fussy eater, like me. Every restaurant you come across offers a wide range of food that will satisfy anyone. Each meal is prepared to the highest of standards, and if it isn’t what you want, or they have cooked it wrong, then the waiters and waitresses will be happy to take it back and cook another one. When you walk into any restaurant in America, you are treated with respect. If the waiting time is a bit long, then they will try their best to get you seated and served quickly. Also all of the restaurants that I have mentioned can accommodate for everyone. From babies in a pram, to injured people in wheelchairs
Certain restaurants are open all day. I can only name two off the top of my head; these are Ponderosa and the Golden Corral. If you want to get up bright and early then I recommend eating breakfast at Ponderosa. At breakfast there is an all you can eat buffet for a small price. This means that everyone can find something they like and they can get full up with all they need for the day. Ponderosa are also open for lunch and dinner. I personally haven’t been to a Ponderosa or Golden Corral for lunch or dinner. But I have heard they offer fantastic food.
Some of the best restaurants you find are in the theme parks themselves, again I can only think of two off the top of my head. One is Flannigan’s. This is located in Universal Studios. It is themed to be an Irish bar and has live music playing. The food there is fantastic. The second one I can remember is the 50’s diner. This is located in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The restaurant is themed to be a 50’s Diner and all the staff act like it is. There are T. V’S that are in black and white to give you a unique feel that you are in the 50’s. The staff always tell off if you do not eat your vegetables and clean your plate. Which I am told is what they used to be like.
I’m sure that you will find your own special restaurants but be sure to try out the ones I have recommended.
