Seaworld - Florida
Sea World is my favourite park by far in Florida. It is well suited to all the family as it has a wide variety of attractions ranging from animal shows to roller coasters.
There are 3 main rides; kraken, a large blue roller coaster with many loops, twists and turns, Atlantis, a water ride with a huge drop which then unexpectedly joins a roller coaster track, and finally manta, a new roller coaster where you are tipped on your front so experience the ride for a totally new angle!
There are many shows at sea world including: a dolphin show, a killer whale show and many more including my personal favourite Clyde and Seamore sealion show! During this show you will see the traditional story of pirates searching for treasure with the help of their sealions. The tricks that the sealions do are hilarious and well worth watching.
There are evening shows of both Shamu the killer whale and Clyde and Seamore which sum up the day perfectly. The second sealion show mocks the other adventures you would have seen throughout the day and will have you laughing more than you have in a long time!
There are many different animals living in seaworld that you may wish to look at during your day. There are also animals such as stingrays and dolphins which you can feed and pet. A family photograph of these moments make a fantastic souvenir to take home and remind you of the day. You can also view arctic animals such as: Polar bears and Beluga whales by going on a virtual helicopter ride, however a walk to see these animals is also available for those who do not like rides.
Within sea world there are many restaurants in which you can receive delicious meals such a stew in bread bowls, turkey legs, childrens meals and many more! You can also buy a soft drink in a large plastic bottle, decorated with images of the attractions, which can be refilled at various stations in the park for a small fee.
Sea world is in partnership with a new waterpark ' Aquatica' in which you can buy partnership tickets for, allowing you to enter sea world and Aquatica however many times you like for 14 days. Aquatica has many different water rides varying from single riders to 4 people in a raft. The play area is a must for everyone no matter what your age because although it looks like a child attraction, it is a great laugh for everyone.
Both seaworld and Aquatica are well worth visiting and will leave lifelong memories for the whole family.
