Wal-Mart
If this is your first visit to Orlando, Florida, one of the places to go is Wal-Mart’s. A great favorite with both holiday makers and locals alike.
They can be found everywhere in Orlando and you don’t need to travel far before finding one. The opening hours at most of them is 24 hours and I for one have been seen more than once wandering around there at past 11.00pm at night, the best time to avoid the queues and not miss out on any sunshine.
If there is something you need then no doubt Wal-Mart’s will have it, not only will they have it but in every colour, size and quantity you could possibly ever want.
Their enormous range of goods all under one roof is totally amazing, ranging from all food items to furniture, clothes to cuddly toys, rifles to trifles.
You can decide to pop in during the afternoon for a few items and when you come out it is dark and several hours later.
My credit cards usually go into meltdown but the bargains found are worth every penny. I can usually find all my birthday and Christmas presents there to bring back to the UK for half the price of the those in the UK.
It is great to be able to get everything you want under the same roof, I never seem to stop being amazed at whet I find there.
The food items are great, having a delicatessens with all sorts of mouthwatering goodies, this is especially good if you are staying in a villa and a great selection of both hot and cold food stuffs can be found. There is a fresh fish counter and even a tank with live lobsters in it. Fresh meats for the barbecue, even the barbeque ! vegetables in every shape form colour and description, and every possible type of groceries that you would need and loads that you would never need ! a bigger selection than you get here in the UK. It is nice too that you can get a few things to take home that you cannot buy in the UK
The rest of the store is like 4 or 5 different stores all rolled into one ! Clothes are a real bargain , those Jeans and trainers that you pay an arm and a leg for back home a quarter of the price, toys, gardening equipment, DIY crafts, furniture, electrical goods, stationary, PC’s you name it they sell it.
So if you have a rainy day that you want to spend finding all the bargains try Wal-Marts !
