What’s so great about Universal Studios Part 6
OK so we just spent some time in play area of Curious George goes to the Town and now dads soaked and battered from all the foam balls that the kids have hurled at you in Big Yellow Hats Ball Factory
Next is a ride on Woody Woodpeckers Nuthouse roller Coaster thought Woodys nut factory, woodys coaster is perfect for “First Timers” and toddler who like the ups and down to be not too big or not too steep it’s a gentle ride but still gives you a nice smile.
There’s also Animal Actors on Location a live show with animals and audience participation along with some hilarious video clips of animal antics, there’s also the Flievel Playground where kids can jump around on the oversize props from the films Flievel Goes West and American Tail a great way for kids to use up some of that excess energy whilst the adults have a rest.
If you are hungry there is Woody Woodpeckers Kid zone dinning where you can order Pizza, Chicken Fingers, Chefs Salads and Fruit Cups before moving onto the ET Adventure.
Another great ride especially for the younger kids ET Adventure where you climb aboard a flying bicycle flying through the woods over the city and past the moon on to ET home planet helping to save him , he even greats you at the end and sings you a song to thank you.
Next show along is often missed as it’s not one of the bigger shows and it’s very easy to simply walk past without noticing it the Universal Orlando horror Makeup Show. For a number of years we missed this show until I was sharing a beer with a friend one night when on vacation in Orlando mentioned it, he said I know it’s very easy to miss but you should go in next time your passing it’s never very busy but it’s very entertaining.
So next time we win in Universal Studios we made sure we entered the theatre to watch the show and was not disappointed at all. The show explains and gives some very good examples of how various horror types stunts and special effects are done and includes lot of fake blood and clips from many famous films and blockbusters.
But what really makes this show fun if the humour that is used throughout the show and like many other shows in Universal there is always some audience participation so take friends and family along and volunteer them for a good old laugh.
