When I was looking for a vacation home in Orlando I decided on Four Corners because it is a delightful quiet community which has a mix of both residential and some short-term rental properties. It is 4 miles south of the US 192 on Hwy 27. Interstate 4 is also only 5 minutes away at junction 55. so everywhere is extremely accessible.
The homes are all very individual with a mixture of one and two stories , 3 , 4 and 5 bed roomed houses together, which gives the community a very non-uniformed look. The colours of the roofs and paintwork are also all different as no two together are allowed to be the same. It has a community pool and Cabana, great for meeting up with the locals and other holiday makers, an exercise area, children’s play area and for next year there will be a 9-hole putting green.
Four Corners is ideally situated and is just a short drive ( approximately 12 – 15 minutes ) from Disney and close to all the other major attractions such as Universal Studio’s , Islands of adventure, Sea world, Discovery cove , Wet & wild and are all no more than about 25 minutes drive away. All the Malls, Mall at Millennia , Florida Mall, Premium Outlets ( formally Beltz ) and the Premier Outlets are all very accessible and can be reached easily with a short drive.
The Berry town complex is handy and is used by both holidaymakers and locals. Now open there is a walk in Medical centre too. It is found just two miles from the community on the Hwy27, this has a large Publix supermarket ( a must for all those delicious hot or cold snacks or BBQ supplies ) a Chinese take away ( excellent for lunch by the pool ! ) a pizza restaurant, hair and nail bar to pamper yourself, water shop, pool supplies, cigarette shop and a realty office. There is now also a SunTrust and AmSouth Bank, an Indian take away, a Quizno’s subs, a Bistro Bistro restaurant and one of my personal favourites an Applebee’s restaurant.
Past the Berry town a bit further up the Hwy 27 towards the turning for the 192 is a 24hr Wal-Mart’s, a new Chilli’s and coming shortly a KFC and Golden Corale.
Turning right out of Four Corners there is a wealth of new and excellent restaurants, all just a few minutes drive away. Cracker barrel, a brilliant Restaurant and unique shop, Manny’s Chop house, a KFC, Burger King, Perkins, and several others.
The beautiful sugar sand Gulf cost beaches are about 2 hours drive away and the awesome Kennedy Space centre and Cocoa beach are an hours drive.
There is a several top class PGA Championship golf courses around, the nearest being Highlands Reserve just 5 minutes away, Southern Dunes and Champions gate both within a 10 minute drive and Orange county Golf club.
So at Four Corners there really is everything on the doorstep whichever way you go.
