For that authentic Italian Meal in the heart of Orlando, there is nothing like The Olive Garden. Relaxing atmosphere, great surroundings, extremely friendly staff and fabulous food, this Italian restaurant would be hard to beat.
This is our first port of call after dropping the cases off when we arrive for our holiday. The first meal after a long flight from the UK.
There are no less than 8 Olive Garden Restaurants in and around the Orlando area, each with in a short traveling distance, and all serving food to the high standards that any diner would expect from such a great establishment.
On arrival you may experience a short wait, but once seated at your table your drinks order will be taken while you glance over the menu looking for that eye-catching meal.
While waiting for your meal, a basket of salad is served along with bread sticks. The salad comes with the Olive Gardens own salad dressing, which taste superb. The dressing is available to purchase if you so wish.
In typical Italian style, your meal will arrive looking absolutely delicious, full of the Tuscan flavours, which you would expect from creative and colourful cooking. The portions are sometimes quit large; so don’t fill up to quickly as you won’t want to miss the desserts.
The wine list offers both excellent reds & whites from various wine producing countries.
Most wines are paired with dishes off the food menu, so if you need any help in choosing a wine then check the menu and see which wine accompanies your choice of meal. As well as Wine, they offer a selection of Bottled Beers, spirits and for the driver soft drinks.
Like all Italian restaurants the desserts have to be some of the best around, our favorite has to be the Tiramisu, The Classic Italian Dessert. But there are other desserts you can choose from, all beautifully presented and all mouth wateringly delicious. You may want to try a Cheesecake or a Lemon Cream Cake, or you may just want to finish off with some fantastic Italian Ice Cream.
Once the meal has finished you may fancy one of the Olive Gardens specialty coffees. Available coffees are Cappuccino, Latte, Mocha or for the caffeine lovers a strong Espresso. Just the tonic to finish off what will be a great meal.
And don’t be surprised when you receive your bill, you will probably be highly delighted with how much it has cost. Don’t forget to leave your Waiter/Waitress a tip as they do work very hard in a busy environment.
The Olive Garden is perfect for families of all sizes and ages, with its calming décor, mellow music, motivated first class staff and the Italian Cuisine they serve, The Olive Garden has to be a place you visit when next in Florida.
Plentiful food as though it had come straight from Tuscany. This restaurant has a lively atmosphere yet very enjoyable. Dishes ranging from Pasta, Meat, Fish all served with ample side salads and vegetables. Friendly staff are on hand to help and advise on the variety of food available.
