Flourishing Cagan Crossings Area on HWY 27
A lot has happened to this area since our last visit to our villa on Orange Tree.
Cagan Crossings has developed really nicely over the past few years, with its 24 hour Wal-Mart store to keep you busy for hours! Next to this is a huge Lowes DIY store, which is great if the men in your party have time to kill while the ladies are in Wal-Mart! It is located just North of US 192 on Highway 27 in beautifully scenic South Lake County and is less than 4 miles from Walt Disney World.
Chili’s bar and grill opened early 2008 and here you can dine on baby back ribs, succulent steaks, sizzling fajitas, and they do a wonderful selection of margueritas. They also have a varied children’s menu for the little ones.
Kentucky Fried Chicken has also recently opened a new fast food outlet next to Wal-mart, and is very handy if you need a quick bite. They serve the usual spicy chicken, salads and sides. There is also a burger take away next to the fuel station.
Across the highway 27 is the Cagan Crossings Town Centre, with its tree lined streets, and plenty of car parking so you can take a walk around, have a coffee or a delicious ice cream served in a homemade waffle cone, and browse some of the shops, some of which are listed below.
1. A wedding planning shop called 1 stop weddings. If you want to get married in Florida they can help you to plan your wedding.
2. Anytime Fitness, a gym open 24 hours a day, every day!
3. Bolero shoes.
4. China 2. Serving delicious fresh Chinese cuisine and sushi.
5. DiRosa’ s Pizza
6 Gator’ s Dockside Bar and Grill
7 Goin’ Postal – postal service

9. J. Nails & Spa, for ladies and gents.
10. New York Style Beauty
11. Quizno’ s – serving freshly made subs, sammies, salads and soups.

14. Simka’ s Sweets – ice cream and candy shop
15. Viceroy Indian Bar & Grill
16. Viceroy Wine Cellars
17. Library.
There were a few empty units and I am looking forward to exploring them on my next visit!
Cagan Crossings is a really pleasant place to take a look around, and is built in a style very similar to the Disney town of Celebration, which in my opinion is also a great place to browse individual shops or have a delicious meal.
