Hollywood Studios yet another fantastic attraction where you can enjoy all that Disney has to offer in the film industry. Meet your favorite Disney characters as you wander around this all action packed theme park. With lots to do to entertain yourselves through the day, your experience at Hollywood Studios will last forever.
Attractions that will entertain are rides like Rock n Roller Coaster, Star Tours and the terrifying Twilight Zone The Tower of Terror a lift that takes you up 13 flights then plummets you back down.
Live entertainment at its best can be found at Hollywood Studios, Playhouse Disney and Voyage of the Little Mermaid for the younger generation, and for the slightly older, Indiana Jones, a stunt spectacular. Watch as boulders tumble, explosions happen in front of your eyes and gunfire clashes between the cast as you sit in amazement from behind the director’s chair. Lights Motors Action is a fairly new show to Hollywood Studios, Car driving at its best. Sat in a purpose built stand, watch as cars screech through the set at speed, feel the heat as explosions happen in front of your eyes, Cars flying through the air at this stunt spectacular. Great entertainment and excellent viewing.
Another ride not to be missed is the Disney Hollywood Studios Backlot Tour, a look into special effects, before you head off on a guided tour via tram, where you can see props from films, encounter an earthquake, before watching a fuel lorry explode and millions of gallons of water pass before your eyes. Great Disney Entertainment.
One of the attractions we like best is a tour through animation production where you can visit and learn how Disney Films are made; you can also meet one of the artists who draw the stills for the films. They will teach you how to draw a Disney character step by step, once you have finished you can take your drawing home with you. Cool
Food is plentiful here, with many fabulous restaurants. You may want to combine your evening meal with the show called Fantasmic, a water and light show held at an area within Hollywood Studios. The Meal and Show is called the Fantasmic Dinner Package. Make sure you book early as its not to be missed. Our favorite restaurant in Hollywood Studios is The Hollywood Brown Derby, based on the original restaurant in Tinsel town. Fabulous American gourmet cuisine of the highest quality, but make your reservation early as like all the diners at Hollywood Studios they offer amazing food but get booked up very quickly.
Souvenirs are on sale all over the park, many shops offering that Disney gift for you to take home. There is one shop in Hollywood Studios where you can purchase authentic Disney memorabilia, such as original drawings from the Films.
Hollywood Studios is quiet simply a Theme Park with action packed rides, awesome live entertainment, fabulous restaurants and a little something to do for everyone. A movie extravaganza Disney Stile.
