Shops in the International Mall, Tampa – Part 1
If you happen to drive down to the Tampa area during your stay in Orlando, then there is a great shopping mall which is worth visiting.
The International Mall, which is adjacent to Tampa International Airport, and it has four department stores and 200 speciality shops, as well as Bay St at the Plaza, an open air village with shops and restaurants. Inside it is spacious and has many comfortable seating areas, as well as a great kids play area.
Here are some of the shops which you will find:
The Apple Store
This was one of the first stores we visited on our first trip to Tampa. It is a great place to browse, with knowledgeable salespeople and lots of apple products to try. We find it hard to drag our son out of this shop! In fact it is the first shop he makes a beeline for.
Bose
Known for their wonderful sound systems, this shop has the latest in stereo and home theatre technology.
Brookstone
Great ideas for gifts for men and women – from a comfy blanket to a candy dispenser, from a Boogie Board to iPod solutions, its all there!
Radio Shack
Just the sort of shop the men like to browse in – TVs, Blackberries, computers, cameras, camcorders – lots of boy’s toys!
Jestibo Wireless
Lots of accessories for your cell phone/mobile phone – more boy’s toys!
Crate and Barrel
We love browsing in this shop which sells contemporary furniture and house-wares. Great place to find interesting little gadgets small enough to carry home in your suitcase.
The Body Shop
This British company has more than 700 natural beauty products, including natural skin care, make-up, aromatherapy and hair care.
Bath and Body Works
Lots of lovely fragrances.
L’Occitane
Lovely skin care products, and bath and hair care, plus perfumes. Some nice travel sized products – ideal for flying.
Sephora
Great range of make up and skin care products as well as fragrances and bath items.
M. A. C. Cosmetics
Large selection of make up, skin care products and nail care items.
Teavana
An interesting shop devoted entirely to the world of tea – your tea heaven! Fantastic range of teapots, including glass, bone china, cast iron, plus a huge collection of leaf tea. You can even buy a tea timer which is pre-set with the brewing time of each type of tea. Brilliant!
The Spice and Tea Exchange
Not just tea, but savoury spices and seasonings from around the globe. Over 60 hand mixed blends and rubs. A sensory delight!
