Although Skull Kingdom offers shows for every age the night show is very intense and more suitable for older children and adults.
The Day show runs from 10.00am to 5.00pm. This is a great adventure through the haunted mansion. This is more of a guided tour where everyone is led through the castle by a guide down haunted corridors and endless hallways. Children are given a flashlight so that they feel happy at all times. We took our elder girl but the younger one stayed at the villa with Mom, as she doesn’t do “scary”!
Our guide was great, waiting while all the party explored every room and always happy to answer the numerous questions. This really was a show for all ages with lots of laughs and a few spooky twists.
Admission prices when we went were approx $9 and as we had collected coupons with an offer of “Buy 1 Get 50% off” we got a further discount. These coupons could also be used for the night show.
The night show is more of a full show and much more interactive. When you go deep into the castle monsters, ghouls and ghosts meet you. One of the couples in our party went and said they were very realistic and scary, the costumes were fantastic and their horror make up was most realistic. Great fun but a lot of frights and screaming for the audience.
Admission charges for the night show, which takes place after 5.00pm are approx$14.
If you are going to the Night Show try to also take in the Magic Show and Dinner. The Theatre for this is wonderfully equipped and even before the show starts you are aware of the great sound system and laser lighting. Make sure you see the murals and artwork.
There is a lot of audience participation and the interaction keeps everyone spellbound. The magicians are very professional and time and time again you are left wondering was it magic or was it a trick?
Dinner is included, you will be served with hot pizza, wine, beer and soda and you are welcome to eat as much as you like at no extra charge!
Admission for the Magic Show and Dinner was Adults $20 Children $16 and our friends said there were quite a few children there. Again there are separate discount coupons for this available.
Adults and older children might like to take advantage of the ticket that offers Magic Show/Skull Kingdom combo Adults $28 Children $24.
Whether you go with younger children to the day show or visit in the evening I am sure you will have a lot of laughs.
