Ellies first visit to Florida, day 2
Well it’s our first full day in Florida and before we can check in to our villa we decided to spend the day at Magic Kingdom. The drive to the hotel was great, a six lane motorway under the Disneyworld sign. Uncle Mark and Auntie Jan told us we have to wave to Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse on the way in.
We arrived at 8. 30 in the morning, bit too early for me! ! Before we went into the park a number of characters performed a song and dance, it was amazing, they included Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Pluto, Goofy to name a few! Mum was in tears watching the show, I think it was because she was happy though.
It was a really hot day, and we came prepared with sun cream, and lots of water. The first show we went to was the Monsters Inc show, we got wet and we had to laugh as much as we could to fill the laugh o meter. That was fun! !
The Disney parade was fantastic, all the characters were out and they were waving and singing, whilst they were performing on their floats, I think one of the best highlights of the day!
There were a number of rides we went on, my mum and dad went on Space Mountain, but I didn’t, I thought it would be a little too scary for me. We went on the teapots; my Uncle Mark thought it was fun to turn us around as fast as he could, to make us really dizzy! Mark managed to sprain his shoulder on the teacups as the teacup he was on with Auntie Jan and my sister Chloe wouldn’t spin. Uncle Mark managed to get it to spin in the end.
We saw lots of characters during out stay at Magic Kingdom, and had lots of photos taken with them and autographs collected in our books, and we watched a 3D picture called Philharmagic with Mickey Mouse, another fantastic show, plus we got wet again!
As it got darker during the evening, the castle became lit up. Wow. Even better than I thought it would be. There were a number of areas on the park and my favourite was the parade, it was really like a dream come true! !
Eventually, we got into our Villa, and relaxed we were all very tired from the flight the day before and the visit to Magic Kingdom! !
