What’s so great about Universal Studios Part 5
So we have just done the Men in Black “Alien Attack” ride which is really great fun, it’s only a short walk to the next ride “The Simpsons Ride” now I can remember this ride when it was the “Back to the Future Ride”, yes I know I am starting to show my age now but I loved this ride then riding in the Delorean Time machine that Doc had designed but I have to be honest the new Simpson Ride is even better. It’s pretty obvious but it’s based on the Simpson’s cartoons that we are all familiar with featuring all the major character , Home , Marge, Bart, Lisa and of course Maggie and not forgetting Krusty the clown.
The ride is set in Krustyland a low budget theme park created by Krusty the Clown a famed TV personality in Springfield, but is someone out to sabotage Krusty’s theme park? you will soon find out as you enter the ride.
This is one of the best rides in Universal for those of us that don’t like actual roller coasters but do like the thrills of riding one without any worry of real life drops etc. , there are a lot of twists and turns and very many thrills in this state of the art digital projected roller coaster ride.
Soon you are crashing your way through Krustyland rides, shows and attractions the effects are so good that you really do think at times your flying or falling etc. its superb and keep your eyes peeled for many of the regular Simpsons characters from the TV show as many of them appear here and there.
Although I thought that whatever ride was to replace the Back to the Future ride would not be as good I have to admit I think the Simpson ride is to coin an American phrase “Awesome”.
Next you will come across an area suitable for the smaller children in your party “Woody Woodpeckers Kid Zone” you have the Curious George goes to Town which is a unique playground for kids of all ages, there the animal show tent for toddlers, or the cartoon towns building where you can grab a pump, valve , lever or hose to drench your friends in this water play area or even try the Big Yellow Hats Ball Factory where you can launch hundreds of foam balls at family and friends all good fun. The ET ride is also here, so hop onto your bike and save the world!
